What is Animal Reiki?

Animal Reiki is the same as human Reiki. When channeling Reiki to animals the person holding the animal often obtains benefits.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation as well as promoting healing. It is administered in animals by either the laying on of hands or the direction by the practitioner of the energy towards the animal. It can be effectively delivered in person or remotely.
It is based on the theory that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If this is low then we or the animals are more likely to get sick or feel stressed. If high then we are more capable (if we choose) to feel happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy" That makes Reiki "spiritually guided life force energy".
Reiki is simple, safe and natural. To be able to provide Reiki a practitioner is attuned by a Reiki Master and through study progresses from Level 1 to 2 and then to Master.
